I've seen many opening ceremonies of the Olympics in the past and they were very grand and fabulous. I agree with the other comments that it was due to the fact that they weren't expecting that we could handle such big event.

In my opinion, Kase baka sa "Culture" natin here sa Philippines. Actually very interesting ang pilipino for other foreign countries specially sa culture kase how approachable we are and can talk english and understand, no doubt naman kase Philippines had a very talented performer's that what audience wants I think the vibe, the support and how we enjoy things that make impact for them. Lets respect then naman ang effort nang incharge sa project nato, everything was planned but still questioned paren for how low the budget is, the overall was pretty amazing that we have all this things now. I heard, it was being said that "I think Philippine sea games was pretty successful rather than the other sea games so far" and it gives me goosebumps, not to be exact but it was good experience so far, they said in an interview.

But my question as a simple Filipino citizen, have we seen any curruption ? Like we had the best sea games hosting, like everybody saw in the socmed not in the local news.. I had goosebumps watching it live. The atmosphere inside the arena was festive and everyone was just so happy. It was really a good day to be a Filipino.

However.... can we pls sugarcoating it? We did good but we can't claim that it is the best Sea Games Opening ever or even state that it is on par with Olympic standards because it is NOT.
