Euler Equations Simulation: Shock Bubble Interaction (Single Material)

preview_player
Показать описание
An initial shock wave collides with a "bubble". The pressure between the bubble and the ambient fluid is the same. The left boundary is Dirichlet and the remaining boundaries are slip.

The real test problem involves multiple materials. Typically the bubble is helium and is surrounded by another gas; for example, air. However, we replicate the same problem with a single material just as a numerical demonstration.
