This music reflects Caesar's sorrow... it's pure emotion

The third movie really reflected how Cesar and the Colonel became similar.
They both lost their families, Cesar lost his will to hold back and the Colonel literally and figuratively lost his humanity.
When he chose to spare him and let go of his hatred, you can see the sadness in the eyes of the Colonel, not because he became a primitive being, but because the so hated "monkey" showed him that they were actually better than humans under many aspects.
Let us not forget that the North Army came to obliterate the Alphas and humanity was that close to extinction already, while Apes set aside their differences after the Koba rebellion and managed to migrate to a new home.

What a beautiful masterpiece. All the powerful moments were further strengthened by this track. I truly feel like this song encompasses Ceasar and all he lived and died for.

The way Caesar held Cornelius so tightly, even crying a bit, it broke my heart man. He really thought his entire family died and i just felt a wave of emotions man...

This trilogy is so underrated. Ceasar is by far one of the best and most improved, movie by movie, protagonist ever in cinema. Definitely my favorite trilogy

This piece, to me, embodies more than just sadness. It is a deep and profound sense of loss. It is grief to the point of near numbness. It’s melancholic and heavy with the weight of the world on one’s shoulders. It’s really the anthem of a weary soul begging for relief from a world that’s, honestly, indifferent. The swell of the orchestra is like one finally releasing these feelings, and turns into steely resolve later in the piece. I think this is Giacchino’s best work.

Can we just talk for a moment about how wonderful and beautiful the deconstruction of Caesar's main theme at 2:44 is? I can't even describe the feeling it gives me, but its really so gorgeous. The way it gently comes in like an echo and builds up to the Quest/Group theme, like it's Caesar finding his resolve. This whole score is a lot more minimalist than the one for Dawn, and I think that's what helps to elevate it.

Planet of the apes is still today by far one of the greatest trilogies I have ever seen, keep in mind this is a movie about chimpanzees fighting a war with humans.

This is the part of the soundtrack which makes this movie stand tall among the first 2 excellent installments into this trilogy. Without this soundtrack (this track in particular & and of course the genius acting of Andy Serkis), at least half of the emotions would not have hit home as hard as it did, since there's not much dialogue in certain scenes due to the apes signing. I feel like this track encompasses all of who Caesar is and what he's suffered to bring the apes to safety and home.

RIP Caesar... you are a legend.

I think this soundtrack was perfect for the third movie of "Planet of the Apes" for the closure of Cesar as a character, that movie was simply very emotional, and also sad, this soundtrack sounds very sad and at the same time makes you reflect, Cesar is and will always be one of the best animal characters ever made for film, and also one of the best leaders.
The Planet of the Apes trilogy was incredible.

The loss and sorrow throughout the film carried it because the emotional manipulation on the viewers just mad the movie hit home to our hearts, this is my favourite trilogy and single movie ever just because of how it made me feel. Truly a masterpiece ❤🫡😔
