You're absolutely right. Low frequency inverters are a much better choice for powering high inductive loads like refrigerators, AC units, microwaves, power tools, motors etc. That why the big inverter manufacturers like Schneider Electric, Outback Power and Magnum Energy only manufacture low frequency inverters.

Low Frequency good for high surge & inductuve load

That inverter is a monster! Like the way you hooked it up. Makes it nice and easy to use.

I have (16) 240w 35v 7a panels wired into a 6 port combiner, then wired to a Victron 150/45 SCC, then wired to the 48v battery banks. All of that feeds into my SungoldPower 48v 6k version of the inverter in this video. It will run TWO 5k btu window A/C units, TWO 12k inverter (slow start) window units A/C units, a 7" cooling fan and a 1.5hp well pump at 148' deep - All at the same time! And it's been doing it everyday since Sept of 2023. The 6k LF inverter is a beast of a unit.

I have the 24 volt 4000 watt model. It does 110 and 220. It's a good inverter but I do wish it had a lower consumption when it has a small load and wish it could do more than 2000 watts per 120 side. I figured 4000 watts would be enough for my rv but it's not. I currently have the 4000 and a all in one 3000 powmr and with both running separate loads it has been working out perfect. Thanks for your videos

What do you think about toroidAl transformer inverter? Victron don’t call lf but hybrid high frequency. But definitely have a big toroidal transformer. Seems to have the pros of both lf and hf

What solar panels do you have there in the background?

I'd be very interested to see if this device works well with a 5kw Sunsynk/Deye inverter. It is an HF design and has a peak power rating of 2x the rated power for 10 seconds.

I just got the same inverter except 24v to power my barn. Who makes the log splitter and how's it been working for you?

The log splitter is more a toy tool ;-)

That's a cheapo high frequency inverter, maybe not up to rated capacity with substandard mosfets(quality of the sine wave at higher loads isn't high frequency inverters out of China will power your splitter and your home comfortably. Have used both high and low frequency inverters, and there isn't much difference in terms of performance. In fact, I prefer the high frequency because of the better battery charging algorithm.
