Hallett Motorcycle Lapping on a Street Triple 765 (Session 6)

My first track day, at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit in Oklahoma. The motorcycle lapping days are non-race events meant to learn how to ride on the track, work on your skills, and improve your lap times.

I rode the Triumph Street Triple 765 Moto2 which performed solidly. The suspensions (front and rear Öhlins) was set to the track settings, for compression and rebound with some additional front pre-load added to prevent the front end from diving under heavy braking.

Preload doesn't help with front end dive when hard braking. You'll need more compression for that.
