I love the idea that you can simply stay calm. It's really not that simple. Obviously everyone wants to be calm, but a lot of tests are designed to stop you being calm. You can't just flick some 'calm switch'.

I haven't done real math since high school but because the UX/UI Design market is using them. Now since it been so long I have forgotten so much of these. When I did a practice test I felt dumb after 2mins of trying. And now I`m using shlsuccess site. Guys really doing their work well

thank you so much for your video. I have an assessment in two days and I was just today informed about it. I have a technical test but I have no idea what this would be like as I am a chemist and the job will be a product develoment chemist. Could you please give me your opinion? thank you

I have an assessment day in the next week. I am a 40 year personal trainer with a recent Business Management degree (2:1) and I just can not get past these tests!! I hate them I am useless at them. I keep getting to the end stage with companies which is the assessment day and then nothing :(. The job I am going for now is a graduate sales role with BMW. I am excellent at sales and have held previous roles before. I am a very capable sales person and have lots of product knowledge but I don't think I will get the chance to start the career I want while these tests are in my way..

These tests are the most stupidist thing that I have ever seen in my life. It does not make sense even for accounting careers. Nowadays, computers do calculation for you. Test your ability to communicate with others, Test your self-confidence and more. Tests cannot measure anything.

I do very well on abstract reasoning tests, but i cant do a single numerical test, i wonder how much my dyscalculia has played a role in that . Anyway as someone has already pointed out these tests are obsolete as computers can do all the number crunching for us now in days .

Hi Soultana, I'd advise you to request a job description for the role you're applying for from the company's HR dept. This will list the core competencies for the role of 'product development chemist' and your assessment will be based around these competencies. Are you serious?? Scan ahead? I had a numerical reasoning test for Morrissons graduate scheme think I had something like 7-9 minutes to answer 35 questions. There is no time for anything, how is this an accurate method of determining real life performance? The answer is it isn't.
