Saying a modpack is outdated because it's in version 1.16 is just completely wrong. Never has there been a current modpack version of Minecraft. Sure, there's some mods out for 1.18, but not nearly enough to make a modpack from.

I think it's sort of incorrect while there are mods for 1.18 some mods are still too busy updating to 1.16.5 it takes a while for modders to port their mods. besides, you can get a cave update mod installed and it would feel the same.

Honestly, 1.16.5 are not outdated at all and for me, I consider them as latest modpacks because 1.16.5 is sort of the golden version for modded mc and has the latest mc feel to it, unlike 1.12.2. And if y'all rlly want vanilla 1.17 and 1.18 updates, there are a lot of backport mods.

This video is cool but id recommend that next time maybe use more of your footage and when you use others footage credit them, use timestamps as we all find them useful and add the download links as they can useful for many. these are some stuff i see most mod reviewers doing and it could get you more subs
but its just a suggestion

if you dont care about the version, i'd suggest sevtech ages which is 1.12.2,
it is an amazing modpack where you basically go from stone age to space age you dont have access to all materials in the first stage(for example at age 0 you cant mine diamonds or use a normal crafting table) and you unlock them by progressing further, some mobs are disabled and they start appearing as you progress, there are sick mods like the twilight forest and the betweenlands which are dimentions with new bosses and new challenges, you also perform rituals to gain weird powers and stuff.

its not necesarily a bad thing that mods are outdated, i actually think some of minecrafts newer updates could conflict with a lot of modpacks. A lot of the updates recently have basically felt like mods anyway
