I’m a scrappy gal only because of sentimental reasons. My grandma made her quilts from scraps of garments she sewn for my sister and me. But, I also love having a dark background and made a quilt using a MSQ pattern. I like how the quilts look so different when switching colors.

I've purchased the Bespoke pattern and am really liking the gray background version, usually I choose a white or lighter color but thanks to you, I've branched out to the grays and recently even used Black! Love, love Beautiful Day and now Abloom is on my "To Buy" list.

Hi Corey! Love your new quilt .. I prefer the dark background . I made one of your kits in the Sunwashed fabrics - it was a kit, I believe called summer weekend. It had a deep blue background. I am forever hooked on dark backgrounds! I just love all your fabrics! Thank you for being so creative and inspiring.
