So, what's better to get? Foundation+concealer or BB cream?

It's amazing. Great coverage too, actually!

BB creams are supercharged tinted moisturizers. CC creams are a step up from that! I love BB and CC creams...and...I really enjoy Kirbie's videos!! :D

Which CC creams have you used? Been wanting to try. Also Julep has released the first DD cream ! Curious what's that like.

Don't mind me jumping in this convo :) We have a CC cream video that was out a few months ago. I use Amore Pacific's which I really like, as well as Juice Beauty's. I will say they don't come in a variety of shades, which is a bummer.

Revelon bb cream is $34.95 here in Australia

I think BB Cream + concealer is what most people will choose, because it will be a daytime treatment you can wear, but then if you need you can add concealer on areas that are dark, breaking out, etc.

In Asia they are more blemish balms to whiten scars from blemishes and laded w SPF to keep it white. Lots more coverage. In the as the marketing is different w diff formulas

I've tried Lorac, Smashbox, and Sephora brand. (I work for Sephora and try out new stuff frequently). I have oily skin in my T zone and normal to slightly dry elsewhere, and the Lorac and Smashbox CCs were quite quite tacky on my skin. Even after powder. The Sephora brand (just tried it today) melded into my skin, wore nicely (8 hrs strong) applied well and feels nice. Only a little bit of oil peeking out :D Hope that helps. (Haven't tried Julep's DD yet)

Thanks Kirbie, will check it out. Oh Amore Pacific! Nice! I prefer sticking with Korean brands too when it comes to BB/CC. After all they were the pioneers in the area. Also Korean brands often have shades for very fair, which I'm after cuz I'm Oh so pale! Does Amore have an online store? I 'm currently in NZ and we get hardly any brands over here..So have no choice but shop online ;)

It must be so cool working for Sephora! I am combination too. I am using Missha's BB cream which has a medium coverage and gives the skin a nice glow. And, of course I have to powder up the T zone ;) Umm not sure we have Sephora here in NZ but thanks for the info ;)

Foundation+concealer offer more coverage than BB cream. If you have visible imperfections of your skin I'd go with Foundation+concealer, otherwise BB cream is the way to go.

Actually, it's Germany who pioneered BB Creams in the 1960's, Korea just popularised the use of it in Asia around 2008, then globally in ~2010. Nontheless, Korean BB & CC creams are always reliable & of good quality! :)
