True story about my ex, during the first few weeks of dating, he would constantly talk about his ex. And this was normal for us since we were good friends before we started dating and would often consult each other with our problems. I didn't mind at first when he would talk about her. He never showed any attempt at getting back together and he told me they somewhat ended on good terms. However there are days when she's all he'd ever talk about. He even sings a song repeatedly and when i asked him he said this song reminded him of his ex. I still hate that song to this day. He would take me to places he used to go with his ex. One time I saw a stuffed animal I liked and he said "oh i remember getting this for my ex's birthday". I tried to understand him since he and his ex just broke up a few months prior. He wasn't a bad guy but it was clear he wasn't over her.
