Instead of just the G-Train, maybe make the BRS (Boatem Railway Systems): Graingotts Station with multiple tracks and trains to sell your items. You could even have a small food stand at the station building itself that sells golden carrots.

I feel like mumbo is just some sort of puppet CEO, while grian is the real “CEO” controlling the whole of boatem from the shadows, and I love it

I've been thinking, since the announcement of the Boatem Gigabase, that the G-train should have another track branch off and have a station at impulse's factory. It would totally fit, especially if you made the stock in that section stuff like coal, copper, and iron, sort of like it was bringing materials to the factory. It would be a perfect way to integrate the base more completely.

Suggestion for the mountain:

Treat the transition like a fault line.
There's actually quite a texturally similar fault you may find interesting. The UK's own Blue Anchor has one of the world's most obvious fault lines, so clear that it can be seen from space! The deep muddy red of the Triassic Mercia Mudstone Formation abruptly gives way to the pale grey marls of the Jurassic Blue Anchor Formation as this strait, simple fault cuts through the landscape. it's stunning!

The rocks are not only different in colour, but texture as well. On the coast they both just look like cliffs most of the time, but mudstone is less rigid and more prone to slumping, whilst the marls are more brittle and break into large pointy chunks.

I figured out the perfect desk clerk for your Magical Menagerie. There's a less-known extra type of villager skin, Swamp Villagers. You get one by breeding a villager in a swamp biome. There are conflicting geology styles in reality. Your bases could be like two layers of different kinds of stone. Just use a diagonal line as border and mix it up a little bit.
