It wasn’t a lie. He gave them those teams to look at in the offseason, he wanted to finish his season in Phoenix, not his career. He just didn’t want traded in the middle of the season.

KD has like one good season left in him. He's old and he's clearly not a number 1 guy on a championship team anymore. His contract prevents anyone from getting him "cheap". Whoever lands him is going to regret it, and I can only hope that my Wolves don't fall for the bait.

The harsh reality is he should have accepted the Warriors trade while he had the chance, and he blew that opportunity.
