Starting +3 and finishing -2 on this course takes some insane mental fortitude. What a round from KJ!

Anyone else here love the ending music this season? The Jomez hook into the "noise section" at 42:02, followed by the instant switch to a calm-out at 42:17. Chefs kiss!
Reminds me a bit of my favorite Justice song, "Let There Be Light" - just love it when songs go from noise to calm over one beat.

That check up on Marwede on hole 10 with that awkward putt was so good. Phenomenal putt being in an awkward stance and against those trees.

One of the many great aspects of our sport is being able to stand on the very same tees at a course like this where the immortals also have played. I hold my own in MA-50 and never got above Am-1 in my youth. From a gameplay perspective I'm playing a different game than these guys. But you know what? I got to play Idlewild on my way through the area once last year and I parred that Hole #18! Yeah, nobody on tour is doing it with an Underworld, an Avenger SS, an upshot, then having to bang a 35-footer from just on the outside of the circle going under that low ceiling on the putting green. Did the rest of the course kick my ass with a bunch of big numbers? You bet it did! And I enjoyed every inch of it.

How many other sports can boast this? Only a select handful of people watching the NFL can say, "I made a block on that 300-pound defensive end just like that" or how many baseball players can say, "I had a plate appearance at Wrigley Field and put my bat on a pitch from a major-leaguer and put it in play." We play the greatest game there is!!
