How One Dude Fooled The World Into Believing A Vaccine Caused Autism

There is a ton of autism misinformation out there, but one of the most damaging is the totally debunked claim by Andrew Wakefield that the MMR vaccine causes autism. But, once misinformation is out in the world, it’s REALLY hard to reel it back in, and the myth still persists to this day.

If it was true do you really think the companies would admit it? Do you really think they wouldn’t bury the information? Idk if it’s true or not but bffr

The issue is not if they are the cause of autism, but if they play any part in neurological development

Andrew Wakefield did not say that vaccines cause autism. His 1998 Lancet study said "The evidence in this study does not show a causal link between the MMR vaccine and autism"

He suggested to have the vaccines shot separate one at the time not 3 vaccine shots together.

To be fair I know a family who has two children. One who had the MMR and also has autism and one that didn't and doesn't. I don't think that is a coincidence and there is a chance that children can get side effects from putting things in their body at an early age.

I wrote a thesis in college to disapprove that there was any relationship between vaccines and autism, because I thought a family member of mine was absolutely insane and I couldn’t stand her. The research only made me more sure that there’s a relationship, however, there are various causes.

The fact that the "super trustworthy establishment" demolished this mans career ect, yet he still campaigns, tells me he might be the one to believe. Especially after everything coming out about covid and the W.H.O.

This is a total misrepresentation of the study findings as reported in the Lancet

Correlation is not causation, and the correlation was imagined. ASD as not a disease.
