Believe it or not 4 of these in a properly built ported box tuned to 28hz on just 1500 watts is still enough to shake up the neighborhood. It doesn't take You're not gonna win any spl competitions but you'll have a damn good sounding setup.

If you have a property tuned box and an efficient system you don't need a sh*t ton of power. Years ago I had a 12" Phoenix Gold / Xenon sub in a small custom ported box running on about 500 watts (old school Power Acoustic amp). This was mounted in the hatch of a 94' Trans-Am. That hatch back made anything sound twice as loud. Before that 12" sub i had a 10" old ass Orion mounted in a Bazooka tube running on the same 500 watt amp. Both set ups slapped way harder than you'd think it would. At one point my rear view mirror fell off the windshield.

Dont pay attention to the haters. Its just cool youre getting loud...no matter how youre doing it. Im almost 50...and my Denali be shaking windows in my neighborhood. I see some kids around town bumpin...and i give them a thumbs up and try to talk to them about their system when i can.

I have a single kenwood 12 on 450 watts and it rattled the windows and the mirrors shake

I had sealed boxes but I changed to a q bomb so if that amp getting hot it stops with ports

Goood ol faithful 😊 surprisingly a very good quality sounding woofer just under 100 and can be still found at Walmart keep blowing em up every day if that’s your flavor ya know what I mean 😂

That doesn't sound like 1k watts. Them subs ain't moving at all. I don't know the specs on those enclosures, but I would put them in an enclosure slightly bigger than recommended. That's not 1000 watts rms, maybe max power. You can still hear the interiors being powered by a head unit
