Hi I've just seen the owner of the awning company it in Farnworth Bolton. We used then over 49 years ago to repair an awning on a starcraft wind up trailer bought in 1981 from a show at Belle Vue, a place you will no doubt know, they did an excellent job. To see they are still going is a testament to their workmanship. I'm a Salfordian now living in Bolton. Enjoy your vloggs and who knows we may bring our swift caravan for a visit in the future.

Hi Neil...for your pidgeon problem..
Fit eitber chicken wire netting over van roof scrunched a bit so they can't walk on it....or even fit plant protection netting over loosly only about £2 a mtr from Garden centre...they likely won't land on it because they will get tangled ...
Hope it does the trick
