This is a playthrough of the 1710 scenario for John Company: Second Edition via Tabletop Simulator.

Some folks asked if anyone would be willing to record a playthrough of the solo game now that the mod is nearly complete and the solo assets have been uploaded and are also nearly complete...so here's one.

This video goes over the basics of solo game setup, and provides some insight into how the flow of the solo game plays out through a full scenario.

Note that there are some goofs and mistakes that I catch and correct, so if you see me making a mistake know that I'm going to realize it and fix it. However, near the end I get a bit sloppier and don't catch some minor things like rolling one die too few or too many, or miscounting the number of events. Apologies.

***Errors Worth Mentioning***
- Climate Shift should be considering success (1s and 2s) and failures altogether (3s,4s,5s and 6s) but I consistently only utilize catastrophic failures (5s and 6s).
- I very adamantly take promises for my forced consent to nepotism throughout the game, but if there is legitimately no other choice but The Crown to hire herself I shouldn't get those promises. I think I had a conversation about something similar fudged in my brain. Apologies.

Haha, that ending was amazing. Looks like those company failure cards are doing exactly what they were meant to, punishing players for trying to game the system and intentionally tanking the company while they are ahead! Thanks for doing a solo playthrough, I'm pretty keen to get this in person and give it a try.
