I literally started crying when luke did.
However, We all understand how much effort you put into perfecting your standing back handspring, and we are proud of you for trying your best. It takes courage to step out of your comfort zone and go for something you really want, and you did just that. Even though things didn't turn out the way you hoped this time, please remember that setbacks are just temporary roadblocks on the path to success.

I personally, want you to know that your determination and resilience is truly admirable. You have so much potential, Luke, and I have no doubt that you'll continue to shine in whatever you put your mind to. This may feel like a disappointment now, but it's not the end of the road. Keep practicing, keep believing in yourself, and I know that you'll come back even stronger. Your journey doesn't end here; it's just beginning.

And to SaiDee, I want to say that I'm proud of you too. I know how much you wanted to make the team, and though it didn't happen this time, please know that your efforts haven't gone unnoticed. You're incredibly talented, and this setback doesn't define you. Keep pursuing your passions, and you'll find success in unexpected places.

Lastly, congratulations to NayVee. It's not easy to put yourself out there, but taking that leap of faith is the first step toward achieving your dreams. I'm proud of you for seizing the opportunity and i wish you all the best as you embark on this exciting journey with the cheerleading team.

Remember, Luke, setbacks are just setups for comebacks. Keep your head up, keep pushing forward, and know that I'll be cheering you on every step of the way.

as a dancer trying to get tumbling tricks, the mental block is a 💯 a struggle that EVERYONE goes through. what works for me is my coach pushes me to get up and keep doing it until i do. i may have been fighting tears and frustrated but that ultimately fueled me to get it even more. with that compassion and renewed motivation i was able to push my self to work through that mental block and do it. now that may not work for everyone but just something that has been working for me ❤

As a young adult I just want Sadie’s and Luke to be so proud of the hard work and effort they put into those tryouts. I’m so thoroughly impressed by the hard work and motivation and wish I had a grain of that when I was in high school I went to college for musical theater and can I just say Sadiees kicks were absolutely on point

Luke, I feel you sooo hard. Mental blocks are extremely hard to overcome especially after an injury because it is your body's way of protecting itself. Never do something if you don't feel ready!! I am I am so, so proud of all 3 kids on putting themselves out there and trying their best. I recently had high school cheer tryouts myself, so i understand the stress they had. The confidence that they all had when going into tryouts is just unbelievable. It takes guts to be able to conquer things like that. I know that God chose the right path for all 3 kids and whatever happened was 100% supposed to happen.

To Luke,
I am proud of you for having courage through every single callback that you had. If I had to do that many callbacks, I would be a mess. Even though you didn't make it, you will be even more prepared for next year if you decide to tryout. Great job Luke I am so proud!!

To Saidee,
I personally think that you did an amazing job. I know that some things seemed tricky at first like the fact that if someone else in your group messes up, you will too, but it is clear that you didn't let those things get to your head. You kept up your confidence the whole entire time and I'm so proud of you for that. You have serious potential for future years if you choose to tryout again!!

To Nayvee,
Congratulations!! I am so happy for you and I know how excited you must be. You are going to make so many friendships and bonds in cheer and I just know that God will guide you through it all. You may face some challenges, but I know you won't let that stop you from doing the best that you can!!

And finally, to Lillee and Tiffany
I think that the way that y'all led the three kids through this all is just so heartwarming and amazing. They are so lucky to have a big sister and a mom like yall!! Good luck to everyone in future events and just know that God will handle it all💗

Luke, I have a tip for mental blocks. I’m a gymnast so I get a lot of them. A lot of times we tend to overthink the skill. It helps me to focus on one or two things. Like for example, your set and keeping your chest up for your tuck. Tumbling is just as much of a challenge on your mind as it is your body. Sometimes it can take a while, but you have to be patient with yourself and know that you can do it.
