@SoftwareTutorial I agree, I would imagine people would probably just use this to capture candid video, plus I moved a lot while filming in overcast light.

As others have mentioned, HTC was never able to create a decent smartphone camera with great video quality.

meh... From what I've seen and experienced, HTC doesn't really know how to make good cameras.
