I have relied on SDI for years. SDIO is the one not working for me out of the box, given it's not recognizing Win 11 and needs to be set to Win 10 instead. Both use the same exact Sam Drivers packs. --- WARNING: Never, ever do this on a laptop or portable device. Chances are it will brick the device given any proprietary or custom versions of the drivers. Stick to the drivers and their versions as offered by the device's manufacturer. ---

For the SDIO, how do you which one to update? Cause I see in your demo there’s so many on the list?

I pay for AVG antivirus software and they have another section of that software that updates drivers, but it's paid. They offer a 60 days free trial, so I used it, and it worked great. Then I didn't want to pay, so I stopped. Now they "nag" me with hints to buy the full version. Not too often, but any "nag" is too much. Lol

Have you tried to "Run as Administrator" on the SDI exe? That might help you index your drivers.

I try updating my TP-Link wireless usb driver, and it stopped working after i had to restore my PC to get it back working

Great find. SDI does not work for me either. Ended up running SDIO. So many drivers need updating. Would have never known without this utility. Thanks.

do you know of any programs that can do speech to text offline locally? like windows speech recognition but that doesnt work without internet

your videos have always helped me get through problems in my laptop.. but there is this problem that after installing windows 11 on my unsupported laptop (clean insall) my touchpad isnt working. This SDI app does show the synaptics in order to install but it installs it and still the problem remains so. Please help.

After finding the hard way that some driver update software mess up the laptops,
with the wrong updates, I use only Driver Easy Professional.

SDI has been in the middle of a storm due to malware. Just Use SDIO (origin), not the SDI.

I had this app years ago and ended not using it so much after I fully used iobit driver booster because it was more intense and more disk space, but I learned back then that if it's not broken don't fix it, sometimes you lose more by updating than to remain in the old version, sometimes you don't even need a new feature, so I try to not risk it, I have a year trying to update nvidia drivers and every time I research about it there is a lot of issues and BSOD, so I've remain with what works and stopped pushing so hard on being up to date all the time.

Rubbish It's not a reliable app, should not use it.. first go with Windows update, then motherboard and pc manufacturer websites
