Fake, here's my thoughts:
1. The case looked really bent to the point that even a hammer won't make it perfect, I think the case is smashed...
2. Dirty hard drive internals, what the hell? I have opened two hard drive and nothing can penetrate inside, as it has their own air filter.
3. Dirt everywhere, looks like smeared, even worser than PhilComputerLab video. Sure, you can wash the motherboard and stuff with water, but you have to let it dry and unplug CMOS battery. (I have done this, der8auer did this too but with dishwasher) Whilst doing that, there's some mistake, bending socket pin on motherboard. It happened to me once, I had to painstakingly straighten the pin.
4. The capacitor and IC doesn't looked like it.. it feels like a bad caps soldered to motherboard.
5. I bet the PC won't boot because bent socket pin, some bent pin won't do anything, but it depends on what pin got bent
6. Disc drive flipped upside down, it's possible to do so, but very hard.

3:56 - Completely fine CPU socket.
4:34 - Utterly destroyed by paintbrush, socket fucked.
4:51 - Further destroyed by ripping contacts out of the socket with the cloth.

Motherboard MAY have been recoverable before this with some significant board level reworking. Replacing all of the capacitors and whatever 8 pin SOIC was ripped off the board at 5:03. Now the board is completely trashed, it will never work again. Not that it is a big loss, the GA-945GZM-S2C is a horrible motherboard, I've had several of them. I've revived boards that have been in floods or submerged in trash water for extended periods of time, but they required significant amounts of work.

8:49 - Waste of time to even look at the optical drive, it's totally destroyed.
7:52 - E7x00 (??) CPU - Not explicitly supported by the 945 chipset. This motherboard does have ugly BIOS hacks to make it kind of work, but not well. The fastest supported CPU on the 945P/G is the E6700.
10:19 - That's what we call a Chinese IED, not worth even looking at. They're horrible PSU designs that are known to catch on fire or explode, and are almost always grossly overrated. These units can only put out about 175W before they go off.
14:16 - ARGH, Washing a hard drive? Really? You can get away with detaching the controller board and cleaning it, but washing the inside and ripping the head off at 16:23, the drive is totally trash.

It's good you try and repair old destroyed stuff, but avoid further destroying it. Basically do none of what was done in this video in the future.

Esto es real!
Esto es verdaderamente real
Igual que los cerdos vuelan
Osea esto es mas fake, ya que POR EXPERIENCIA, SE QUE SI ABRES UN DISCO DURO, YA NO FUNCIONA, Y AUN MENOS SI LO HA ENSUCIADO O SI ESTA RAYADO

The RAM and CPU were likely fine, but he replaced those. The motherboard was heavily damaged, I'd say 50/50 that it actually worked before the cleaning, but the soldering looked like it was burning out traces because it wasn't precise. That is not the original case at all. And the hard drive? LMAO no way that's functional, if it had mud on the platters the mirror surface is ruined, it will never be reliable. So, basically, this whole video is fake. Not getting a subscription out of me.

Ok, without even watching, I'm going to make 5 guesses about what he does in this video:

1.] Cleans the inside of the hard disk drive, ... with toothbrush.
2.] Scrubs the motherboard in a tub of dirty river water with dish soap.
3.] After washing the case with a water hose, ... gives it a cheap spraypaint job with a rattlecan of black and silver spraypaints.
4.] Cleans the CDROM drive pretty much the same way he "cleans" the hard drive.
5.] Inextricably the computer miraculously boots into Windows 7 or 10 while somehow changing cases as can be told by a just visible side panel that doesn't match the case that was worked on.

So, ... how accurate was I?
