My brother just passed away on oct. 9 and I’ve been looking for signs to tell me he’s in heaven. I heard the name Jeremiah like 5 times and my dad said the numbers 2911 yesterday, so I looked up Jeremiah 29:11 after he said that and read the passage and it stuck with me. This video just got uploaded an hour ago and the first thing I see is Jeremiah 29:11. I’ve been struggling so hard but I will trust in Gods plan and keep my faith. I will see this as a confirmation.

The Red Clay Strays were introduced to me by my son. I fell in love from the first time I heard them. The first time I heard this song, I wept while driving to work and had to call my son to thank him for introducing me to this bands music. We subsequently had the opportunity to see them play at the Bluestone in Columbus, Ohio, and yes, Brandon came out and played this song and I wept again. I am truly blessed to have been able to watch their journey and experience their music with my son.

I'm sitting here reflecting on my life after turning 50 at midnight (10.19). Missing so many as I get older, especially my beautiful Grandma and Grandpa, I lost so long ago. It's strange how long they have been gone, but some days, it feels like yesterday. I think it's because they created so many beautiful expeiences that I still have so many vivid memories. I thank God every day for our time together since they taught me so much about the importance of family, faith, unconditional love, being kind, the south and the music it created.

They were sure to instill their southern roots and faith in the Lord spending every summer in Lebenon Tennessee with them at our family reunion. After, we often traveled to Clifton, Waynesboro, Gatlinburg just to name some of my favorite parts of 'God's Country' where they were both raised and now rest peacefully off highway 64.

One of my favorite memories is peeking in the Grand Ol Oprey so we could see the stage. I was so young. Not sure exact age but I was still in in grade school. It was during the day and the theater was empty but it still made such a huge lasting impression. They were so excited to show us the stage so many of the greats stood and now includes you and your soulful band!

It's crazy since I 1st heard your music it felt like a warm hug from them reminding me of the old country they raised me on. So tonight when I saw your new video, I felt like it was was a beautiful gift from them reminding me not to be sad, missing my loved ones, but to be happy, especially today. They have always been right here beside me and never leaving. Reminding me when I reach the pearly gates they will be waiting there for me.

When you showed different venues and saw the Oprey, it only brought more confirmation and ultimatelycomfort. Reminding me of the important life lessons they taught by walking in their faith importance of family, our beautiful south, music and being kind, always knowing that the Lord has plans for me. God bless your talented souks. Thank you for creating music that helps express my feelings. My birthday wish is that I am blessed to see you perform at the Grand Ol Oprey one day soon☆☆☆
