Than you Pastor Ray! Admitting we are all flawed is the first step to growth. I so appreciate wanting unity not division as the church of Jesus Christ. The staff, Pastor Curt, Pastor Andrew, Pastor Jason, have always put the Bible first. The heart of each pastor can be heard on other programs like The Flip/Side. Love you guys!

Love Ray and the entire staff. This has been my home church since before it was formed. But until the church really FULLY OPENS up, other conversations about the political state of this messed up state of CA are secondary. That's the leadership I personally wish and have prayed to see. We should answer to God, not the governor. That means fully open, in-person worship for those who wish to attend. Those who don't can attend online.

Hi pastor Ray. I know you are the senior leader/pastor of Bayside communities and I appreciate your attention to this issue. However, pastors like Curt need to address their own convictions. Bayside Christians who disagreed or didn't fall lockstep with the direction taken concerning racial reconciliation were given condescending responses, ignored and even characterized as "difficult" people by Curt and the staff on social media platforms. People had real questions and valid concerns with some of what was pushed forward and the posture of Bayside since the passing of George Floyd. This was not a case of complaining Hebrews in the wilderness. This was the Church holding our leaders accountable. Now I don't see the emails or the private conversations... but the ones had on Facebook and on Instagram that I did see were had by people with valid questions, comments, and concerns. I hope this issue is addressed this Wednesday because my family is planning to move on from Bayside at this point.

at 1:27 you say "Whenever I prepare a message, God speaks to me far more than he speaks to you". This is the most abhorrent thing I've ever heard a pastor talk about. How disgusting, untrue and selfish. You need to repent and have some humility for goodness sake.

If Bayside starts ignorantly hating the President next and starts pandering to leftist garbage I'm going to be forced to find a new church for our family. This is church, NOT a political platform. There's so much more to what's been going on, then what you are hearing from CNN and other leftist paid media sources, in every single thing that pastor Ray just mentioned. Bayside has been my church since 2008, and I've loved this church for so many reasons ever since. It brought me back to life twice, and it's brought others back to life that i brought to church before too. I am really glad to hear that pastor Ray is finally coming back though. He's the backbone of this church and the reason that it's been such a great church all these years. A wonderful God honoring and intelligent man who's never been afraid to open up about controversial subjects in the church. I have always loved how open and God honoring he's been about LGBT areas, and his beautiful encouraging words about the LGBT community being loved by God, and i totally agree. I LOVE that scriptures are used in an expository way in this church, although it seems that the last few years have gone downhill in this area and it seems like there's been more opinions and stories rather then scripture based and even factual based teachings like we used to have at Bayside. For me, and I'm sure many others out there, learning the scientific facts and historical facts about the Bible have led me closer to God and even gets me excited to learn more. Seems like those days are gone now and I'm not sure what's changed over the years. In fact, one of my most favorite sermons was from a guest speaker many years ago, i think he was here in 2014, and he was at some point, challenged by a university in Santa Cruz to try and prove the science in the Bible to them because they had ignorant beliefs about what Christians believe and was accusing Christians of not believing in science. He gave us his response to them, and his story about it, and it was absolutely incredible. That sermon used to be in the Bayside archives, but a few years ago it was taken down out of nowhere and i tried emailing the church several times about it but no one ever responded. I was in need of that sermon to share with a friend who wasn't a believer but after telling them some of the amazing things in that sermon, they were actually interested in watching the entire sermon themselves! It was a beautiful moment where i could tell they could be on the edge of changing their entire life right at that moment and to my surprise, after all the years it had been posted and all of the sermons before and after it were still up, that one single sermon was removed and my friend had lost interest as if i had made the entire thing up. In fact, they were even upset after that and told me never to bring up Christianity ever again. I was even more disappointed that the church responded back to me with i have no idea what sermon you're talking about. I used to frequently post it and watch it over and over again because of how great it was. Called, "does evolution disprove the Bible?" many things in Bayside Church have changed the last few years, especially since pastor Ray has taken a back seat. I'm ready for him to step back up again and take charge, but I'm starting to get afraid now too. It seems like Bayside doesn't know the history of America and the gop, and also seems to be confused about racial inequality and other racial issues as well and i really hope Bayside learns the real truth before spouting nonsense from fake news. I'm going to pray about this, and pray over Bayside as well.

Really disappointed in this! There is so much more than the race card going on in the world right now! You really need to lead by opening your church... Jesus is coming back and we need to be ready. The last thing we need to do is get ready for heaven here on Earth that is not reality. Maybe you should do a sermon on Revelation and being ready for when he comes not ready for a better future here!

Pastor ray thankyou! This really spoke to me because I've been paralyzed by fear for a long time. I thought I was trusting God but I truly wasn't because I was still worrying and I'm so thankful you shared this because it woke me up in my faith I've accepted that I've not been doing what I'm supposed to spiritually. I'm so thankful for you and all bayside staff. This has been an extremely hard time in my life a lot of grief and loss has caused so much anxiety and I thought I was trusting God but I truly wasn't it's so hard to accept that because it shook my faith but I'm so glad because now I know I have to trust through his word, and prayer. Thankyou again!
