Recorded Friday 21st February 1969 between 1 AM - 4 AM.The strings overdubs for the final cut were added in the afternoon or 18th March and the brass was added in the evening.The backing vocals on the 20th.Elvis's vocals vovals from take 6 0-1m27 and 2.27 -2.57 were used for the final master.The vocal repair for 1m27 -2m27 were done on Saturday Feb 22nd.

This man's voice and overwhelming talent is immeasurable. Imagine had he had a good manager and less uneducated hicks around him what he could have achieved.

I mean, he achieved so much anyway, but beyond 1974 if he'd kept his health under control, if he hadn't been riddled with illnesses and dependent on the prescribed meds... he would have lived longer and given us even more. More music, better films, more voice, more of that beautiful face ❤❤❤
