In this video, we will discuss different types of keys in databases. Keys are used to access and sorting data in the database.
Different types of keys in the database are as follows:

01:25 Primary Key:
An attribute or set of attributes that uniquely identifies a tuple in a relation is called the primary key.

03:34 Candidate Key:
Sometimes relation has more than one attribute that can uniquely identify data in relation. In this situation, all these attributes are candidate attributes.

04:57 Alternative Key:
A candidate key that is not selected as a primary key is called an alternative key.

05:21 Composite Key:
A primary key that consists of two or more attributes is known as a composite key.

06:07 Foreign Key:
An attribute or set of attributes in a relation whose values match a primary key in another relation.
The relation in the foreign key is created and is known as a dependent table or child table.
The relation to which the foreign key refers is known as the parent table.
