Lampard conned his way into the public consciousness as 'one of the best midfielders of his generation.' Which is a slap in the face to the likes of Zidane, Makelele, Vieira, Keane, Scholes, Gerrard, Xavi, Iniesta, Pirlo, etc, etc. These players were light years ahead of Lampard in almost every criterion. Yes he scored an impressive amount of goals, but most of them were tap-ins or hit and hope long range strikes. The most basic footballer to be labelled a great. A fraud that conned a generation. Now he's trying to con people into thinking he's a good manager. He's not, he's truly awful.
