"The absence of human interference proved to be a more significant boon than the looming threat of radioactivity" Enough said.

Wish all those animals a healthy good life

What shocked me was the clickbait photo of a type of mutant beast that plays no part in this story.

Agree, leave the animals alone they're doing just fine without us humans

There are some great documentaries on this resurgence of animals. There are people that still live close by & watch all of this. Nuclear scientists monitor the area to see what's going on there.
We saw this during the pandemic and the pollution eased up so much skies cleared & water turned blue again. Very cool 😎.

This shows that the planet is MUCH resistant to being damaged by humans.

To me, this is just another way of saying, People need to stay out of the Forest. Stay away from from the Mountains, stay away from the Wildlife Parks, stay home in yours city, no more wilderness home.
Sounds like a total lost of Freedom to me.

"I am Ozymandias, king of kings! Look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Maybe it should also be borne in mind that Hiroshima and Nagasaki, to date the only two cities destroyed by atomic attack, today are thriving metropolises.
For all our science and technology, we modern humans are not nearly so godlike as we sometimes believe.

"Man" still forgetting everyday what is right in front of them, the largest living thing we know in existence, the earth itself.

With all our plunder and abuse it will be here when we are all gone

The animals don’t need us. In fact, we are a scourge on the landscape, as we aren’t mindful of other creatures, and only want to take and build what we need.

In Idaho, the river of no return wilderness. Shows anybody willing to walk or horseback into it what REAL nature looks like.
I've walked in maybe 6-7 miles and it looked nothing like what I'd seen in at that time 40+ years of remote wilderness and wished my body could have taken me farther for weeks not just a day hike that the F&G I talked to on the way out said I was crazy for taking the trail I did for any distance without horses. I let deer walk right up and watched them eat like they didn't know I was holding my hunting rifle. There was no way I wanted to have to drag anything back from the top of wood tick trail, not even a monster rack would have gotten my rifle near my shoulder.

Scientists have been doing an in depth study of the wild dog population. While they are mostly healthy, they are a bit malnourished, they don't see any more than about 7 years old. The radiation is effecting them over time. The question is, will they develope resistance to radiation over time.
