I can do hanging leg raises e toes to bar. However, my favorite version is the hanging knee raises, aiming at touching my chest with my knees. I really feel my abs in this way, and there is no flexibility issue in this variation as with the straight leg one.

I have a question isn't it better to keep your legs slightly forward so you keep your abs contracted for the whole movement? Because if we move our legs behind as you showed our abs wouldn't be under tension for that moment and it will be less effective?
