I highly recommend the Duck Tours in Galveston. They take you not only on a land tour of the island but also on the water over Offats bayou.

You kinda missed all the good parts. I love the Island from going to Medical School there. Much more history and culture you missed.
One of my friends had a party, and lived in a historical house. His attic was full of ceramic dolls. Almost 200 of us wanted to see the dolls. He said NO! YOU MIGHT DISTURB THEM! This guy is the most laid back hippie ever but no no and no.

like swimming in a dirty toilet. its a dead city. in the late 70s and 80s was kinda cool. but with the recent hurricanes all coolness has been washed away
