What area of PA are you in? If you are near Lancaster County, look up Blessings of Hope. They will give you 2 big boxes of food every week if you want to go every week.

Wow here in the UK you wouldn't receive all of that, especially fresh meat. Also you have to be in receipt of benefits to go . I can't imagine they would let me have free food although me and my husband have a low income, so we just struggle by

In our little city we have several pantries, a shelter that puts out personal care items, and several little boxes all over town for books, personal care, household items, and food. I wish everyone had access to this.

Here food panty gives enough food for 2 people far 3 days and you can't go back far a month

In the past I also had to go to the food distribution in France (Europe) (they are much less generous than here), and fortunately I was able to get by and I no longer go there
But I find that in the United States (I also follow two other chains of the same type as yours), the food banks are very generous and you are really very lucky

I occasionally have people that state. How unhealthy the food that I get is too. We just all gotta do what we can and into the best weekend. And if my food or your food isn't the greatest, at least we're eating.😊 You're doing the best you can don't let people on the internet bother you.

salt pepper flour sugar and cornmeal are good items to barter with in case shtf 😬
