This is what I always refer to when people say Punk only got over because he did a shoot promo. No he got over already years before when all he was saying is “I want competition” or whatever generic catchphrase they gave him in ECW.

They hated on him....das it das all....didn't wanna give him a chance n worked hard until they had no choice but to give him one....n wen he got a chance he blew the fuck den dey tried to slowly bury him....we all saw it....its crazy how ppl aren't straightforward wit dey opinions about other ppl
