Unboxing and Assembling our new modular IKEA JÄTTEBO SOFA.

Dear diary, We've moved in!! BUT there are still renovations, and we need a place to sit. Thankfully, our new modular sofa was delivered a few days ago. Since it's the first sofa we've ever bought, we wanted to assemble it ourselves. It was a challenge but super fun at the same time. We're so happy with how it turned out, how cosy it is and how it fits with our new home. I'm excited to furnish the home slowly and see how it turns out. Love, Demi xx

Hi, Edinburger here too. I have had this on my list for a year. Finally today all the pieces came into stock, yet I am dithering. I like the green as we have another sofa on a mezzanine in the same green jump cord. I like the size of it because I can get a large corner, my cats can sit on the flat back and can sit plates on the flat armrests like my current leather sofa. Only issues are the low back (even with cushions), assembly and whether it will sag quickly. Ideally I'd like a velvet larger corner sofa but most are 4-6k and deposits are 10% even if offer free finance. Decisions, decisions.

Great looking sofa! I saw another reviewer mentioning the angle of the back rest being vertical, hence making it somewhat hard and uncomfortable. I think that would be fine for sitting in an office or waiting room, but not for home, where I want to have max lounge comfort. How has your experience been thus far?

This is my dream sofa, I hope you still love it! Does each piece of the sofa hook to each other? I have a modular sofa with pieces that just sit next to each other and it gets annoying because I keep falling through the cracks :/ and does it disassemble easily for when you have to move?

Is it possible to secure the separate pieces of the modular sofa together to prevent them from moving apart when I sit on them, especially on a floor with limited grip?

Just received this sofa, and for the life of me I cant get the cover on for the bottom part of the seat! Maybe the cover is simply sewn too small or did you have the same issue? I saw your bf struggling for a while with that part too. Thanks
