using this kind of microscope in my official job was a complete disaster. The reason was that our eyes are leading the movements of our hands. If you want to examine cleaning and repair the diamond of a cartridge head - you ALWAYS need a microscope - you can easily destroy the cantilever (very expensive damage) . This microscope is useful to filming and getting pictures as credentials for your custumers or for draw (picture editing) modifications of a pcb..Binocular microscopes are much better by far even if they don't have a "video out port" + you need something to suck the fumes from soldering flux .

I had a microscope like this one also with a very sharp image. However I found it very difficult to use it to solder small parts as there is no depth perception. I finally returned and purchased a stereo microscope that worked really great for soldering.

Nice BUT, from the video it looks like those flexible LEDs would interfere with working on a board with a soldering iron or be very restrictive.

Hello friend. Thanks for the video.
Can I ask for a revision of the ps4 psu. I have one that gives 5v standby voltage, but pfc circuit runs for a short moment, and the 12v shows for a second on the Multimeter. But then it discharges. At which point, 5v standby power is still present, but acin_det is 0v.

I have compared diode readings with a known good psu, and the readings on all the components and ic are similar.

I am trying to understand how psu protection works, to isolated which area of the psu is causing the problem. Psu is adp-160er

Hello sir,
I am facing a problem with Dell desktop pc SMPS.
Problem is PFC MOSFET getting shorted after replacing. It's not shorting immediately but after switching on SMPS 2-3 times.
In this SMPS a TEA1716T PFC controller is used so my question is how to pinpoint the problem?
Is the PFC controller is bad or something else?
Original MOSFET is K16A60W replaced with K10A60D, is this MOSFET is wrong?
Please help to solve the problem.
