Lesson Objectives: To be able to understand how there is a difference in pressure between the top of an object and the bottom of an object within a liquid. To be able to link the pressure difference with the upthrust experienced by the object. Upthrust = pressure difference x Area

In this video we look at how there is a difference in pressure for an object within a liquid. We then look at how this contributes to the upthrust upon the object. Make sure that you understand that the pressure difference needs to be calculated in order to work out the upthrust. I also walk you through an exam question to improve your exam technique.
