Thanks for the video. How often do you have to open the glove box? You can also open via voice command. An actual benefit of the screen based glovebox control is you can secure it with a PIN, instead of relying on a key.

I believe the internal camera is for driver's attention tracking as well so it is better not to cover it or the safety feature don't work as well

you don’t need to go through the menu to open the glovebox. It’s just a tap on the screen, or you can set to open it from the steering wheel… all glove boxes have a button or latch that you have to press. It’s the same action. The camera is vehicle safety equipment, for the lot of people who like to drive distracted or use cruise control with devices to keep them from touching the wheel. Again vehicle safety… you don’t need to turn the camera off, I don’t get why people are scared of cameras. You’re not being recorded.

The glovebox button is a HUGE feature in North America because in our cities car windows get smashed routinely so you need a safe place to keep things. I know it sounds crazy.. but yea I guess america is crazy.

Hé didn’t mention the windscreen wipers 😬😬😬very frustrating or the jerky cruise control when you turn it on and it jerks you into the middle of the lane at 70mph.😱😱😱Seats seemed a little small on a long journey. On the plus side the speed OMG the acceleration is out of this world 👏👏👏and as an electric car it is amazing did 200mile journey and the computer said I would arrive with 3% battery and I arrived with 3% battery AMAZING no worries. Sorry and don’t forget the one pedal driving with regen now this is the future wonderful.

Shutter-buy one they're less than a dollar. Also the camera makes sure your awake during Autopilot. Glover box - Press the right scroll wheel and say the magic words "open glove box". So many of these BS reviews from reviewers who don't just RTFM
