They offered them 50 perc raise and they refused it 😡 as a nurse I was lucky to get 2 perc .. they should be ashamed doing this during a natural disaster where people r suffering

We can't expect Biden, Harris or their administration to do anything at all to help the American people or our country 🇺🇲

today I saw a mom cry because someone gave her water for her and her baby. Who had no supplies after the Hurricane.

I live in NC but thankfully I don't live in the affected areas and I totally agree with Gov Desantis. These doc workers striking at a time like this is beyond despicable!

IF the dock workers actually cared about their country and not a 77% raise while they make $100K they would at the very LEAST postpone their strike.

What kind of people walk off a job at this time, for these reasons? You have people homeless, praying they find their missing loved ones alive and you want a 50-77% increase in pay? How selfish are you? Also, to demand NO AUTOMATION on docks and then walk off? Whose brilliant idea was that? All you’ve done now is reminded them why automation is necessary.

Bring in the national guard and put a stop to this bull shit.

Florida is a right to work state. If the ports are going to go on strike send in the national guard or higher temp workers

Agree. Times are tough enough without this nonsense.

They make on average between 100, 000 and 200, 000 a year! The average American makes 56, 000 a year!

Thank you Governor for speaking out. Prayers for all those who have had to suffer the devastation from Helene. It's obvious we need Stronger Leadership. May the help needed come soon for recovery, healing, and rebuild. God Bless every one of them. Amen.

They picked a horrible time to cry for a raise

Don't give them a dime! These people deserve unemployment, not a raise.

I support unions but I’m pissed. This ain’t cool. Also parts of GA under water needing all hands on deck. These idiots are out there picketing instead of helping their community. It ain’t all about you guys!

hard to sympathize with the dockworkers on strike when they already make 3x the median household income, sure it's a tough job but if you don't like the pay, just quit, someone gladly gonna take your spot

They make $40 an hour or more. They ain't hurting.
