We love watching all your videos of Saskatchewan.
We just visited SW Saskatchewan this past week. We found your Forgotten Saskatchewan book in the Valmarie school museum. We love it.

Excellent video. Looks like a beautiful area and wonderful town. I recall from Stegner's novels how his parents starved out of dry land farming in Saskatchewan during a drought.

It is interesting that "East End" is located on the west end of SK.

We enjoyed watching this video. Our Grandson was recently working there and sent us a picture of train 1750.

I'd like to visit Eastend again this summer. We were there last during the summer of 1995 when our children were young. It seems like lots has developed since then. May I ask, when is the rodeo held and will the train be running in July? Any other links??

If they get their tourist railroad running I'll be visiting for sure. Nice to know they have a municipal campground too.

gerat video! Thanks! I visited Eastend back in the 80s and had a nice conversation with Sharon Butala in the cafe there. Good memories, and you helped bring them back for me.

Summer 2017 I worked on a road crew that sealed the highway heading west out of East End. Absolutely loved the small town and the area surrounding it. The motel had a bit to be desired but it was still a good bed lol. Definitely a gem of a place!

I stayed there for four days in 2016 ands I loved it. Too bad about Charlies Lunch, it was like stepping back in time.

Thanks for your videos Chris! I am planning a bicycle tour of southeast Alberta and southwest Saskatchewan starting from Edmonton in July of 2024. I modified my route to include Eastend due to your videos. Some great information!

They stole Scotty the T-Rex from Eastend. Because it was "too small" to host something so precious. Honestly, what a farce. A bigger city can just take whatever they want.
Amazing video though, thanks!
