For years I've had to listen to someone Yammer on about their seat in the heavenlies. Being more concerned about their placement in heaven then the activities that we are supposed to be involved with in the Here and Now, that is the Great Commission. This totally turned me off towards studying the subject more thoroughly, it would come up occasionally in books that I've read and in regular Bible reading I was picking up a bits and pieces throughout the Bible. Your way of teaching connecting all the points and not going into exaggerations is refreshing and vital in these days. Thanks so much for your ministry Dr. Heiser, I will be praying for you blessings and healing in Christ Jesus name amen.

Yessss! I've watch so many of your long content videos and have your book but they're hard to share because people have short attention spans but this is a well done short video on the council and I'm very grateful! Thank you, Dr. Heiser!

I read the Unseen Realm, but I must admit that I am not a thorough enough biblical scholar to either support or refute Dr. Heiser's assertions--way beyond my knowledge. So I gifted his book to several of my more learned friends--especially one of my former pastors. Everyone was pretty much on the same page with Dr. H. So he sold a few extra books, and I am more comfortable with his interesting views. I do recommend gifting copies of his book to people whose biblical opinions you respect. I don't think Dr. Heiser would object to this recommendation.

My rebuttal is that the sons of God are said to have bread with the daughters of men so that means either they were able to manifest a physical body or that's the form they maintained.

Michael, I discovered you--somehow here on Utube--and oh my goodness. I've been devouring nearly everything of yours I can get my hands on! Did you and Chuck Missler ever collaborate on an interview/podcast/speech, anything? I would have loved to hear a discussion between the two of you on the "unseen realm." Chuck, who's been a favorite of mine for years, had already taken me to a different level of Biblical knowledge than I'd ever heard of before in church, but YOU are on a "whole notha level" when it comes to this stuff. Wow. No wonder I'm finding "regular" church so sadly dry and, well, whitewashed. Dry bones indeed. Can't wait to hear what else you have in store for my gray matter!

Reading John 10 I had a bubble to go over to Psalms 82. Reading NLT. My mind wondered and this is how I found Mr. Heiser.

well.. if the term is the MOST HIGH GOD than there has to be a less high god(s) .. I mean there is ONE GOD in a sense that there is only one CREATOR GOD and ruler over all things.. HE created his "sons" ( high spiritual beings as a direct creation of GOD) and HE gave them authority over the nations after the fall of the tower of Babel... some of them are bad and in rebellion against the MOST HIGH... that's why we have a fallen angels and their sons the nephilims.... they established their dominions and religions from Babylon and India, China trough south America and Europe, ruling trough secret societies from the dawn of civilization and wanting to be like the MOST HIGH... Every thing adds up historically and culturally from ancient time to the present days on the planet Earth. Amen.
