In answer to your question about colors, the more prevalent color is usually the one mentioned last. Thus bluish green will seem more green than blue, and greenish blue will seem more blue than green. This holds true throughout the color spectrum, so red orange is more orange than red, blue violet is more violet than blue, yellow green is more green than yellow, etc. It is an art thing.😊

I am going to look for a large print verse by verse version, once the prices come down. I am entering retirement and have been getting different translations to study over the next few years. I currently using the NLT and ESV to start. I still have a 1958 KJV i used as a child. Finally have more time to dedicate to reading The Bible. Thanks for your videos.

Brown is such a beautiful color for bible covers. Funnily enough, it's not even close to my favorite color in general, but it really does feel like a bible when it has a beautiful brown cover. Those red accents are pretty killer, too! So happy to see Holman forgo red-letter this time around.

In addition to Jan D's answer to your question: one box looks like is 2 colors the edge is darker and fades in.. The darker one looks navy or a dark teal

As best I can tell, the double end sheets are a Korean thing. The HHC CSB Study Bible is printed in Korea and also has double end sheets. All of my Chinese HHCs have a single end sheet.

EDIT: "Which one do you like better and why?" - I take the HHC thinline to church now. It's not a daily reader because the paper's a bit thin for me and there's not a lot of room between each line. Given the similarities between the Pastor's Bible (that I don't have) and the Verse-by-Verse (that I do have), the second one is a better daily reader.

The red chapter and verse numbers in my CSB SC wide margin are one of my favourite features. Sad to see them missing.

The large print thinline is ok. That 11 point doesnt read like an 11 point. The letters are jammed together. Put it side by side with an NASB Thintel and you'll see. Both are 11 point font but the Thintel has its letters spaced out more.

I like red-letter bibles, so the Large Print Thinline Bible, Black/Brown LeatherTouch, Red Letter is my preference. Also, the more premium cover models aren't rated very well.

I have the 2017 CSB Pastors Bible and I have the VbV. The paper in the pastors Bible is horrible. I love the paper in the VbV. I am glad they combined the two. A little disappointed they did not keep the red accents.

Love the HCS version, but really dislike the red letter. It’s like Jesus had a gum disease.
Really like it as a translation. I am very new to it but can see it fast becoming a favourite.
