Excellent demo! Sounds great on your voice. Thanks.

Correction: In the musical example the text says "70 Hz LPF" -- that should say "70 Hz HPF". It's a high-pass filter, not a low-pass filter. Just cutting the lows below 70 Hz to get rid of any low rumble.

These really are fantastic mics. For the best performance, use a clean, fast, detailed mic preamp. You want to use something that can keep up with the transient detail the golden drop capsule is capable of. Those capsules actually do what they claim. Really something special.

I have the V67 and its been great. If you end up keeping it, you should def get the shock mount they sell, you'll be super happy.

Kudos for putting the drum fill in the song!!
Some of these manufacturers are getting a bit liberal with their comparisons to U67. It's borderline misleading to suggest a mic without a tube or a transformer has anything to do with a U67. (And the vast majority of U67-style mics that DO have tubes and transformers don't implement the unique negative feedback circuit in a real U67.) Not to say it doesn't sound good, but this name is a tad extreme. IMO
