The rise of Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine, is largely attributed to the message in his music which have political undertones. Perhaps when he became an active opposition politician, the musician in Bobi Wine took on another life with what can be described as songs of resistance.
