A couple of weeks ago, I attended a DnB night with some of my best mates and did a full bag of MD. I was so hyped and felt so good. Coming back in the taxi, I rolled myself a spliff, got off the taxi at 6am in the morning just as sunrise was beginning and at that exact moment, this song came on shuffle. As I lit that spliff and stood in the middle of the road I stared up at the blood red sky, birds sang and flew over head, that simple offbeat hihat came in, followed by the claps. The orange glow of sunlight began to peak out and rose up over to warm my face as I was blessed with the most extraordinary afterglow from the MD. That beat, that melody, that moment. Unforgettable

I first heard this at EDC Chicago 2013 in the pouring rain. The lasers were reflecting off the rain drops coloring them green, red, and blue. I will never forget that incredible experience.

Well I used to listen to hard trance, then I listened to trance, then commercial house, then big room techno, then techno, then real house, then deep house. So my taste in electronic music over the last 10 years has been so diverse. I'm sure all those kids will be the same. Everyone's taste changes as they grow and develop as a person. I still think prydz is untouchable as a producer.
