This is why I opted for cuffs instead of the full bracelet. Easy on - easy off, without the issues. They are just as lovely IMO.

The problem is also that it is gold. Gold is a soft metal and especially small pieces can bend and break off after wearing it for a while. For such pieces, platinum would be the best choice.

You are not the only one who had this experience. I was researching Love SM and I saw many reviews about this issue. Love original model is quite secure but SM is not. The design of its lock is too thin and tiny.

This is the issue I was talking about last year when we did the meet and greet at Tiffany’s. I love my love bracelet but after it came off I was so paranoid to wear it for fear it would fall off and I wouldn’t notice. They have upgraded the mechanism and you can send it in to get it fixed.

I have 2 small loves. One is 8 years old, and the other one was 6 years old and never have any issue. I've been wearing them along with my other bracelets 24/7 and only took them off when I have to. Do you think this is just one of the rarer cases? Or cartier been declining as well?

that's a very honest video, rather than just complimenting how beautiful the jewelries look. mine popped open a couple of times just like that as well. so I was very afraid and I just kept looking at it to make sure it didn't drop somewhere when I was outside.

Don’t cry Charis, I really hate that this happened. I’ve always been concerned that you wear your jewelry 24/7, even bathing and sleeping in it, that at some point this happen. It’s a shame, it’s such a gorgeous piece. I’ve ruined several pieces of expensive jewelry from nonstop wear, it unfortunately does weaken the medal over time. I purchased mine in 2018 and just lost mine last month but Cartier is ignoring the quality issue. I took it to the shop when I found the lock has loosen issue. At least twice they said the bracelet was fine. The third visit in 2021 they changed the screw for me. But I don’t feel safe to wear. Recently I wore it back n lost it.

This happened to me 2 weeks into owning it! I know for a fact it was locked, but it still opened on my wrist. They sent it to be repaired but I’m so scared to wear it now. I feel like for something so expensive, they should really make it more secure! Did you end up getting yours repaired?

I tried on the small love and I love it more than the regular size love 😢 i also tried on the tiffany lock and I found it so uncomfortable 😣 hope cartier improves the mechanism for the small

This is crazy because the same EXACT thing happened to me last week. My thinner rose gold Cartier just fell right off me and onto the floor! The little piece that secures the bracelet together is broken also! I’ve had this bracelet for only 2 years.

My older version gold thicker version I’ve had for 12 years, has never given me any issues besides a little screw problem.

And I wear these two 24/7 also. Will definitely give Cartier a visit…

I removed Love Bracelet; Unfortunately In certain areas (u can guess which Cities…no effort) its gotten so bad that I wouldnt want to lose a hand from the criminals while they smash n grab at Security Guarded stores with zero regard for anything or anyone; Sad we are at this point

I don't think its broken. Mine is slanted also. Its slanted so it can shut, then you screw it closed. Yours just unscrewed and you have to turn the screw closed with the screwdriver. I've had the same thing happen where it unscrewed and I had to re-screw it closed.
