Famous bike rider and YouTuber Agastya Chauhan died in a tragic road accident while riding his racing bike at a speed of 300 kilometers per hour as per the police statement. Agastya, who had more than 12 lakh subscribers on YouTube, was on his way from Agra to Delhi when the incident occurred at the 47-kilometer milestone of the Yamuna Expressway.
We have seen several incidents in the past where YouTube influencers try to touch the magical 300 km/h speed limit. While some of them have succeeded in doing so, it remains highly dangerous.
Many reports claim that Agastya was a professional biker. However, we think that he was simply riding bikes for a long time and making videos on them. Professional bikers go through regular training processes from well-established schools like California Superbike School.
However, he lost control of his bike at that speed and collided with the expressway divider, resulting in fatal head injuries that caused his immediate death. The impact was severe, and the visuals of the accident were shocking and gruesome. The incident is a tragic reminder of the risks associated with high-speed stunts and the importance of safety precautions when engaging in such activities.
One of his friends claims that it was a hit-and-run case, and he was hit by a speeding truck from behind. The police are trying to get a clue by examining the footage from CCTV cameras and Agastya's helmet camera, which was also damaged in the accident.
Chauhan, who belongs to Dehradun, has been booked under several IPC sections and the motor vehicle act for performing dangerous stunts on the city roads of Dehradun. He was also on the list of 12 bloggers identified by Dehradun traffic police for endangering public safety with their stunts.
