When I upload a pdf to Notebook LM to create a podcast, I spell words phonetically so that they'll get the pronunciation right and it sounds much better

I think these tools are actualy made more like for scientific dissemination or comunication towards the general population. Not sure in other countries, but several countries in Latin America have this as a option/requirement in order to grant funding to researchers
