Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 Transformation #1 Build Part 1/18

Hello Guys! This is the very first part of my 3000GT build! I got it as a fairly stock 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4, except for the front mount intercooler (FMIC). I did a 1997 conversion (1st gen to 2nd gen conversion) because I like the 97 model. The pop-up headlights, front splitter, and active aero didn't work properly anymore. I changed the front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, high rise spoiler, XXR wheels, tires, pulleys, water pump, oil pump, timing belt, tensioner (120k kit) did an evil eye mod, and more.

How did you do the headlight conversion? Don't you need the gen 2 radiator support?
