A new lawsuit could see six major water companies face fines totalling up to £1.5 billion after claims under reported pollution incidents meant customers may have been overcharged.

They seem to be dumping sewage virtually daily. The pipes needs to be larger but that costs more money. Costing us a fortune while they. I definitely want my money back. Everytime they get fined our bills go up to cover their failures this must be stopped and the shareholders take the brunt.

They could face huge fines, but they won't. How many times have both Lab and Con government said this then not done it? The poor, old and low wages are easier to push around and making them pay more for less is easier than getting big corporations pay for their crimes.

Totally agree the system currently isn’t fit for purpose they shouldn’t be allowed to profit if they don’t upgrade the systems appropriately, all money should be expected to go back into the company to do the upgrades until the system is up to standard

power, water should sll be run by goverment only, uk only country to sell off its stucture.goverments in uk dont want to spend the money, let other countrys run things, very bad decision.
