You jest, but you can actually do this with a LEGO cube. It's a bit slower, but a lot more stable. 😉

You could also use a bandaged-cube DIY kit, but those tend to be too tight.

I have done this when i was 13. And i thought im weird because im fiddling with my other 3x3s just fo rit to be solved fast. Im glad to know im not the only whos done this
