Arsenio was only pissed off at vanilla ice during the interview because at that time vanilla ice and mc hammer were competing/beefing against each other and since mc hammer was one of arsenios best friends, arsenio was backing up mc hammer and starting ambush interviewing vanilla ice on his show.

I've heard Arsenio talk about his infamous interview with Ice 10 years ago (during the 10 year anniversary of his show) and his explanation behind being angry was completely different. It was all about MC Hammer and being asked not to go into detail about OLD NEWS (which was the Dallas Newspaper claiming Ice wasn't a motocross champion when he had in fact won three championships in 1985, 1986 and 1987). The Dallas Newspaper eventually had to rectify the story and write an apology. I wonder why Arsenio never had to do the same?
He's still - 20 years later - claiming Ice wasn't a motocross champion - just because he hates the guy. And Arsenio has even forgotten the actual reasons why he didn't like Ice to begin with.

BTW - Vanilla Ice appeared on Arsenio a total of FIVE times. And once after this interview. And Arsenio was always nice to him then.

P.S. Snow wasn't famous until three years after Vanilla Ice. 

And I guess Arsenio forgot that he was being "so honest" during that interview that his audience booed him.

I remember watching the vanilla ice interview, and IMO there was a blatant disrespect put on Vanilla Ice. I think it was a racially abusive interview, put together all to embarrass ice, and it was Arsinios way of not welcoming him into Hip-hop culture. And for

everyone who automatically believe the research thing. Vanilla ice actually *DID* win 3 motocross competitions in the 80s look it up.

I just watched the interview. It seems like Hall had more of a issue with the color of the man’s skin then anything else. It was pitiful to watch. Hall still has not really admitted that what he did was wing and should hav never happened. He really refuses to be man and take responsibility and keeps trying to shift blame.
