Ingredients:
1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter
1 cup (250 g) sugar
2 eggs
1 & 1/2 cup (200 g) all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
zest from 3 medium lemons
1/4 cup (60 ml) lemon juice
6 Tbsp (90 ml) milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Lemon glaze:
2 cups (200 g) confectioner (icing) sugar
6 Tbsp lemon juice
4 Tbsp milk

i just made this cake i only had a whisk took ten minutes to mix all the ingredients then forty minutes in my oven left of the drizzle because i have diabetes but WOW what a cake and i mean that is a very nice cake madam! i have been trying different recipe's for lemon cake/loaf and this is so far the best by a long shot x

I used the same size cake pan but only the middle of the cake would rise and the sides remained flat. Is there any way I could make my cake rise evenly like yours?
